Deco: Ode to Ornament and Restraint

There’s something undeniably cinematic about the Deco. It’s not the kind of drama that demands attention. Instead, it quietly captures it and holds it completely. Nest Studio’s interpretation of Art Deco doesn’t rely on nostalgia. It draws on the recognizable shapes of the 1920s and ’30s, including arc forms, dynamic lines, and metallic sheen, and transforms them into a sculptural language suited to modern interiors.
These are not reproductions. They are reinterpretations. The Deco filters vintage glamour through the lens of architectural precision. It brings together the shimmer of the Jazz Age with a minimalist’s refined sensibility.

A Rhythm All Its Own
The defining feature of the Deco is its curved geometry. Sweeping arcs, repeating half-moons, and stand-off-mounted handles create a rhythm that feels architectural. This visual cadence recalls the façade of a skyscraper or the slow rise of the sun. The hardware appears to shift as you move past it, transforming pulls into punctuation marks that catch the light and suggest motion even at rest.
Construction reveals the collection’s true discipline. These elements are not merely decorative. Each piece is cut by machine, then hand-assembled to ensure seamless integration. Mirrored pairs, front-mounted arcs, and circular pulls give designers not just components to install, but tools to compose with intention.
This is luxury hardware that embraces structure, repetition, and rhythm.

A Quiet Rebellion Against the Ordinary
In a world dominated by straight lines and hard corners, the Deco introduces something softer. It curves with purpose and confidence, always with a respectful nod to its Art Deco roots. As the design world shifts between extremes like maximalism and minimalism, the Deco remains a steady presence. It isn’t chasing trends. It stands as a reminder that the best design doesn’t demand attention. It earns it.
